Facility Technician for Jacksonville Mall <ul><li>Part Time</li><li>$15 to $17 per hour</li></ul> Position SummaryThe Facilities Technician is responsible for assisting the Operations Manager or Manager on Duty with implementing safety plans, operating standards and guidelines, troubleshooting, repairs, and&nbsp;preventative maintenance required to maintain the physical assets of the property.&nbsp;Responsibilities· Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various building systems· Operate a variety of equipment to perform preventative maintenance, and minor repairs and maintain the cleanliness of the property· Perform a variety of maintenance/minor repair activities on the interior/exterior areas of the property including, but not limited to, painting, drywall, parking lots, sidewalks, plumbing repairs, clearing drain stoppages, lighting, flooring, and roof· Assist with maintaining appropriate inventory systems, records, files, material safety data sheets, supplies, equipment, and tools· Repair, modify, and move retail merchandising units as needed· Assist in the setup of events and install/take-down mall décor· Perform interior/exterior custodial duties as needed which may include sweeping, vacuuming, steam cleaning, gathering trash, emptying trash receptacles; operating the compactor; and landscaping· Assist with snow removal by vehicle and/or by hand (if applicable)· Embody and support PREIT’s Safety, Health, and Environment Policy. This position fosters strong retailer and community relationships while serving as a vital link between Mall/General Management, Business Development, and Marketing. The PMA ensures seamless communication and collaboration across departments, contributing to the property’s overall success.This position is 40 hours per week as schedule to be determined by business necessity.Overall Responsibilities:· Be the liaison between Operations, General Manager, Marketing, Retail Leasing, Asset Management, Accounting, and Legal to expedite Business Development deals from negotiations through tenant openings and closings· Work with all office staff to provide effective liaison between management, customers, and retailers· Enter agreements and deals into Salesforce and maintain accurate vendor/tenant records. Process signature requests through RightSignature· Track, maintain and procure as needed paperwork from third parties such as, but not limited to permits, and Certificates of Insurance (COIs).
