Facility Technician for Jacksonville Mall <ul><li>Part Time</li><li>$15 to $17 per hour</li></ul> Position SummaryThe Facilities Technician is responsible for assisting the Operations Manager or Manager on Duty with implementing safety plans, operating standards and guidelines, troubleshooting, repairs, and&nbsp;preventative maintenance required to maintain the physical assets of the property.&nbsp;Responsibilities· Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various building systems· Operate a variety of equipment to perform preventative maintenance, and minor repairs and maintain the cleanliness of the property· Perform a variety of maintenance/minor repair activities on the interior/exterior areas of the property including, but not limited to, painting, drywall, parking lots, sidewalks, plumbing repairs, clearing drain stoppages, lighting, flooring, and roof· Assist with maintaining appropriate inventory systems, records, files, material safety data sheets, supplies, equipment, and tools· Repair, modify, and move retail merchandising units as needed· Assist in the setup of events and install/take-down mall décor· Perform interior/exterior custodial duties as needed which may include sweeping, vacuuming, steam cleaning, gathering trash, emptying trash receptacles; operating the compactor; and landscaping· Assist with snow removal by vehicle and/or by hand (if applicable)· Embody and support PREIT’s Safety, Health, and Environment Policy.
